Agarwood
Agarwood is one of perfumery's most storied materials: dense, resin-soaked wood with facets of smoke, leather, honey and dry spice. Natural oil is rare and costly, so modern compositions often blend selected oud qualities with woody bases to keep the character honest. It deepens rose, cacao and incense without needing sweetness. On skin agarwood is patient — quiet at first spray, then increasingly textured in the dry-down, like polished wood warming in the hand.
