Benzoin
Benzoin is a sweet balsamic resin from Styrax trees, smelling of vanilla, cinnamon warmth and soft incense. It is a classic fixative: it softens sharp edges and lengthens dry-downs with a golden, almost powdery glow. In modern perfume it partners woods, tea notes and ambers without heavy smoke.
