Blackcurrant Bud
Blackcurrant bud absolute is greener and more feline than ripe blackcurrant fruit — sharp, sulphurous-tinged leaf and bud that perfumers tame into elegant top notes. It gives chypre and modern masculine openings a distinctive bite, often beside bergamot and pineapple or marine notes. On skin it is vivid then softens quickly.
