Coriander
Coriander seed is warm, nutty-spicy and slightly citrus-woody — softer than black pepper, more aromatic than cinnamon. Leaf can read greener and soapy if overdosed; seed is the usual perfume star. It links citrus tops to tobacco, lavender and marine herbs. On skin coriander glows in the heart. Choose it for polished spice: tobacco oud openings, sandalwood colognes and coastal gardens that need gentle heat without dessert.
