Driftwood
Driftwood smells of salt-bleached timber — dry, mineral and softly smoky, as if wood had lived at the tide line and dried in wind. In perfume it gives musk and berry bases a coastal woody finish without heavy resin. On skin it is quiet and textured. Seek driftwood for Mulberry Musk moods: softness with weather in it, linen and fruit grounded by grey wood rather than sweet vanilla alone, a shoreline memory in the dry-down.
