Labdanum
Labdanum is the resinous gum of rockrose — warm amber, soft leather, dried fruit and a faintly animalic glow that grounds orientals and chypres. It sweetens tobacco, patchouli and leather bases without turning sugary. On skin labdanum feels rich and lasting.
