Oud
Oud is resinous agarwood — smoke, leather, sweet balsam and dark timber depending on origin and treatment. It anchors rose-oud, green sapphire and leather bases with precious depth. On skin oud feels intimate and lasting. Seek oud when perfume should feel rare: polished dark wood, soft animalic warmth, oriental trail that rewards patience as the brighter notes fade away.
